About

Background

My grandmother was one of the top Kimono tailors who sewed quality silks into Kimonos every day. As a result of all her sewing, my grandmother developed very tight, sore neck and shoulder muscles. Even though I was her little granddaughter, I took it as my job to massage her neck and shoulders to ease her pain. My natural talent to find Tsubo (energy points/acupoints) was revealed and evolved from this experience.

I became interested once again in massage after my fourth child was born. My best Thai friend knew the owner of a local Thai massage spa who wanted to train a new massage therapist in Traditional Thai massage. The owner was educated in Thai Medicine at Wat Po Thai Traditional Medical and Massage School, and she would later become my mentor. In order to take the position, with the challenge of two small children at home, I earned my educational requirement hours at a local school and passed the state license exam in the shortest length of time possible. In January 2008, my exciting new career began.

My ethnic and cultural background influences my beliefs of the mind, body and spirit connection. My sessions focus on this connection, therefore no two sessions are ever the same. I create a one-of-a-kind experience according to each client’s needs.
